‘Selected titles from Evil Angel's catalog - including several from the Buttman series - are being added to Adult DVD Empire during the latter's Gonzo Month this month.
The initial batch of 40 titles includes Flesh Hunter I, Ass Collector, Ass Worship 1 and 2, and Buttman in Budapest, among others, according to Adult DVD Empire marketing manager J.T. Smith, who said the deal came together over the past couple of months.
"In the past, we'd never really worked that close[ly] with Evil Angel," Smith said. "This year, at the [Internext] Expo, we kind of approached each other and said we should get something going. It didn't take that long to broker the deal. It probably took longer to get (the Evil Angel features) up on the site."
Smith said it just made good business sense to get a deal going with the edgy video producers. "People love Evil Angel - that's been our experience," he said. "Whether we support it or don't support it, people buy it. So we figured, why not support that?"
The Evil Angel additions make more than 700 titles from 19 adult studios - including Digital Playground, Red Light District, Wicked Pictures, Private Video, and Vivid Video, among others - offered by Adult DVD Empire.
And, as part of Gonzo Month, they're knocking $5 off the price of selected titles from several gonzo studios, including Evil Angel, Red Light District, DVSX, and Mayhem. The company also is offering a contest whereby customers can have a crack at shooting their own gonzo line by entering to win a camcorder.
