Evil Angel announced that today’s release of Rocco’s The Lady and Her Tramps 2 from Rocco Siffredi Productions is the company’s 500th DVD.
Evil Angel’s first DVD was Buttman’s Big Tit Adventure in January 1999. The 500 DVDs consist of titles from Evil Angel’s current directors: John Stagliano, John Leslie, Christoph Clark, Joey Silvera, Jules Jordan, Nacho Vidal, Belladonna, Jonni Darko, Justin Slayer, Siffredi and Harmony’s product. It also includes four DVDs in the Evil Angel catalog from Stanlay Miranda and Greg Dark.
Evil Angel DVD claims it was the first adult company to implement a fetish menu, which is an index of specific sex acts in each scene. The company said it also released one of the first two-disc sets.
Vice President of Operations Chris Norman thanked distributors and consumers "for supporting us during our first 500 DVDs."
"And we are looking forward to many more releases in the years to come – on DVD, HD-DVD, or whatever formats we will be fortunate to experiment with,” he said.
Norman added that Evil Angel strives to keep high quality control, noting the large amount of cheap counterfeits of Evil Angel DVDs found recently.
