VAN NUYS, Calif. - Adult industry veteran Christian Mann has been appointed general manager of Evil Angel following the departure of longtime GM Chris Norman, who is returning home to England due to "personal family circumstances."
Christian brings nearly 30 years of expertise in adult sales and marketing to his new position. For 12 years, he was the owner and CEO of Video Team and most recently served as General Manager of Metro Interactive.
“I’m grateful for this opportunity,” Mann said. “The integrity of John Stagliano and staff, the commitment to quality over hype, the partnerships with the best creators of erotica, and decades-long consistency throughout have made Evil Angel the premier brand in hardcore movies. My goal is to learn from them and help carry on the tradition and relationships that John, Karen [Stagliano] and Chris Norman have already established.”
Norman spent 12 years with Evil Angel, nine of them as GM.
“I’ve had a great experience being at Evil Angel over the years," Norman said. "I’m disappointed to be leaving, but I am delighted that Christian Mann, who is a longtime personal friend is the person who will be carrying on my job position.”
Company owner John Stagliano praised Mann for his integrity and insight into the business.
“Christian has always impressed me as an honest and straightforward businessman in the adult industry," Stagliano said. "As I’ve gotten to know him, he has shown insight and managerial skills that I am excited to have at my company.”
