CHATSWORTH, Calif. — AVN award-winning performer Eva Angelina discussed her pregnancy and career plans in a press release announcing her appearance in the latest issue of Cheri magazine.
"My career is not at its end, it's not even at the beginning of the end," said Angelina, who won AVN's 2008 Best Actress - Video trophy for her work in Upload (SexZ Pictures.) "This is just the end of its beginning."
Angelina will not be seen in front of the camera for the next year, but she will continue with other adult industry projects. She plans a return to performing in mid-2009.
"I truly do appreciate all those that allowed me to have personal time to adjust to my new lifestyle," she said. "I have some projects in the works that will materialize in the coming weeks. While for the next year I won't be in front of the camera, the Eva-lution will continue. I'll still have a presence."
The August 2008 Cheri cover and photo spread should tide fans over during Angelina's hiatus from the screen.
"I really like the way it came out," she said. "I knew the final product would rock, but I am truly amazed and encourage all my fans to take a look at the issue. Thanks Cheri! You guys are great!"
