Black Widow Releasing will distribute former Orange County escort agency owner Joe "Jose" Pusher's series, Jose Pusher's Pimping Adventures, on an exclusive basis beginning in January.
Pimping Adventures will feature never-before-seen girls, many of whom Pusher claims were just experimenting and are unlikely to appear in an adult video production again.
"It's something real, brand new and spontaneous," Pusher said. "It might not be the craziest stuff, but the girl usually doesn't know she's doing porno that day. It's not like I called an agency or a manager to get them to the scene."
Ric Williams, president of Black Widow Releasing, said Pusher's title is something fresh in today's crowded adult video marketplace.
"It's shot with an eye to the amateur market," Williams said. "There's a good amount of interview and tease before the action. When the action does take place, it's with a girl that hasn't been shot by everybody and who probably hasn't been with many guys. It's very much like early-'90 gonzo."
Pusher said if the series works out, he plans on taking it to the road and shooting new amateurs across the country.
"I'm used to hustling all day long," he said. "I can shoot all day and night. I love it. I know I'm not going outdo the German Goo Girls for overall nastiness, so I'm focusing on something that's real."
