LOS ANGELES — As everyone must know already, it's Erotica LA time again, and going by all the press the convention has been receiving in all media, the show should draw over 40,000 attendees for three days of fun, beauty, knowledge and all around good times.
Word has it that reporters and film crews from at least E! Entertainment, KNBC and FOX will be roaming the aisles and asking questions, plus the convention has already been the subject of stories on Good Day LA and a mention on last night's Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. Even better, the lovely Wicked Pictures contract star Jessica Drake gave a stunning interview on KNX-AM this morning which you can read about and listen to here.
One of the new things the convention is doing this year is providing real-time updates of convention activities, appearances by porn stars and event scheduling which folks with mobile internet access can check out on our new Erotica LA mobile site.

There will also be two talent shows at Erotica LA this year: The 2009 F.A.M.E. Awards, with which everyone must be familiar by now, plus a new addition, the LA Direct Models Talent Search, which will feature the top 12 finalists roaming the show, culminating in one of them being crowned Miss Erotica LA 2009 at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 13. The F.A.M.E. Awards will follow shortly after, at 9 p.m. — and they'll be hosted by world-famous Wicked contract girl and Louisiana senatorial candidate Stormy Daniels!
This year also, Erotica LA will be doing its part to help those caught up in the recession to have some fun as well, with the "Erotica LA Economic Stimulus Package." That means that anyone who's been recently laid off from their job can get into the convention FREE on Sunday, June 14 — just show a letter from the state unemployment office dated March 1 or later, with the person's full name and Social Security number, or a recent unemployment check stub with the same information — and to further show the adult industry's support for our fighting men in uniform, all active members of the U.S. military can also get in free on Sunday merely by showing a valid military ID card.
