Erotica L.A., the premier adult entertainment event of the year scheduled for June 20-22, is making several sexy additions to solidify its standing as the No. 1 erotic marketplace in the country.
One of the new attractions this year will be the final round of the "Sexiest Woman in Los Angeles" contest, which will be judged by mainstream celebrities. Fans can enjoy the competition while they peruse over 150 booths featuring adult manufacturers, distributors and retailers at the LA Convention Center.
The semifinal round will be held in late May at a site to be determined in Los Angeles.
But just in case the "Sexiest Woman in L.A." isn't enough to fuel your fire, fans are welcome to attend some of Erotica L.A.'s new informative seminars on such titillating subjects as "Tantric Sex," "The Art of Strip Tease" and "Sensual Massage." Some of the other unique classes planned include "The Lowdown on Sex Toys," "How to Drive Your Lover Wild," "The Truth About Safe Sex," "Dominance & Submission," and "Secrets of Sex Revealed."
This year's Erotica L.A. theme has been designed specifically for couples that want to bring new romance and excitement into their bedrooms said Show Manager Renee Johnson.
"We have lined up several well known specialists for the new program, which has been themed 'A Sexier and More Exciting You in One Fun Weekend,'" Johnson said. "It is designed for anyone who wants to improve a relationship and each class will be conducted in a discreet but very sexy setting. We think participants will learn so much that they'll be experts by the end of the courses."
At press time show organizers were preparing to launch an extensive media campaign for the show that will include major ad placement throughout the LA metropolitan area. Major newspapers, magazines, TV and radio stations will all be involved in the marketing of this year's interactive extravaganza.
"Erotica L.A. is a truly unique adult marketplace, where the general public can meet adult stars and see first hand what the adult entertainment industry has to offer," Johnson said. "We'll have a number of erotic fashion shows, a live auction of a collection of adult entertainment industry memorabilia and appearances by leading authors and sex experts."
