This year's festival of erotica features 165 exhibitors, live entertainment on the main stage and several adult-oriented seminars. Distributors, toy and novelty manufacturers and production companies began three days of mixing with retailers, Webmasters, adult talent and enthusiastic fans on the redesigned show floor.

A camera crew from the "Jimmy Kimmel Show" made its way around the show floor to capture some of the first-day action that included an array of new exhibitors.

John Aguilar, one of the founders of Session clothing, used the show to help launch his line of urban wear that includes men’s and women’s t-shirts, hats, beanies and accessories.

“Everybody’s got a session to do, whatever session you feel like having we have the clothes. Most of our clothing fits this type of demographic,” Aguilar, who traveled from San Diego to the show, told AVN.com.

Meanwhile, Lewis Adams, the general manager for Smash Pictures, told AVN.com he was offering an Erotica L.A. special of Black Booty Climax, Legal Skin 1 and Legal Skin magazine – all for $20.

“I haven’t sold any but a couple walked away,” he joked.

Ramona Luv, who wore a 2Young4U t-shirt, signed posters at Smash’s booth.

Adams said he and owner Dan Quinn, who owns Horizon Multimedia, were looking forward to their new collaboration with Penthouse on the first Penthouse Boutique in Connecticut.

“It’s going to be an upscale alternative to your regular adult store,” Adams, the former marketing and promotions director for Hustler Video, said.

Fred Schecter of Maximotion set up a private photo booth and display for his new Flesh Cards (fleshcards.com). The cards illustrate motion of a model flashing her breasts.

“The whole concept was started because of the JJ1 Club. His girls were the perfect type of motion to capture,” Schecter told AVN.com.

Andrew Garver, who runs JJ1 Club, a Website where porn girls and models perform naked jumping jacks that are placed in loop, said he was looking for a unique way to market his Website.

“You can put a jumper in your pocket,” he told AVN.com.

But undoubtedly it was the adult film stars that were commanding the most attention.

The performers at the Romantix booth generated a long line of fans. Briana Banks, Ron Jeremy, Alexis Amore, Jenna Haze, Dee and Fujiko Kano posed for pictures for a steady stream of admirers.

Lolana turned heads at the Strip-E-Gram booth with a sheer white corset and thigh-high stockings, promoting her growing Website (lolana.com) and modeling career for the first time at Erotica L.A.

Some of the other porn stars spotted included: Nikita Denise (Adam & Eve), Cherry Rain (Suze.net), Nyomi Marcella (Babylon Entertainment). Felicia Fox, Avy Scott, Monique Alexander, Violet Blue, Wicked Girls Sydnee Steele, Stormy, Devinn Lane, Stephanie Swift, Kaylani Lei and Jessica Drake, Angel Cassidy and Vivid Girl Sunrise Adams at the Adult DVD Explorer booth.

Pro skater Ronnie Farmer, Johnny Knoxville and Puck from the “Real World” were guests of Inari Vachs Multimedia.
