Credit and check processors Epoch are looking for future cover girls for their familiar AVN Online back-cover ads, particularly a Miss January to grace the back cover of their ad for AVN Online's January Internext issue.
And who will get to decide Miss January and future Epoch back cover girls? You. The current Epoch Girls Poll is running through September 30, with submissions due no later than midnight Pacific Time September 30.
Candidates must submit an application form available at the Epoch Girls Web page, including full name, contact information, and attached photographs, one a head shot and one a fully-clothed body shot. The candidate submissions will be posted online, and viewers can vote from September 30 through October 4, with midnight October 4 the deadline for votes and a ten-vote maximum for each viewer.
The votes, Epoch said, should be based on physical beauty, photographic quality, diversity, and creativity. The January Epoch Girl will be announced October 17. If there's a tie, Epoch added, the candidates receiving the greatest but equal number of votes will be the Epoch Girls of the poll.
The winner(s) receive an all-expenses-paid trip in Los Angeles and the right to be the January 2005 back-cover girl for Epoch's AVN Online ad. The trip will include a photo session with a professional photographer, transportation, food, and accommodations, and the winner(s) will also receive $1,000 in spending money. The total value of the winning trip is $4,500, and the winner(s) must be available to travel between November 1 and November 5.
All candidates must be 18 years old or older, and they will be notified by telephone and required to complete, sign, and have notarized an affidavit of eligibility and liability release as well as an artist release, Epoch said, returned via mail or fax within seven days after they are notified. If not, the prize may go to the next candidate with the largest number of votes.
Once those documents are received, Epoch will notify the eligible winner(s) and a company representative will assist in the travel arrangements.
