Epoch Waives Visa Registration Fee For New Contracts

Online transaction service provider Epoch/Paycom is waiving the Visa registration fee on new processing contracts this week. Coupled with the fallout from Internet Billing Company’s (iBill) recent loss and replacement of their payment processor, Epoch said, requests for new accounts at Epoch/Paycom have risen rapidly.

“We’ve seen a dramatic rise in the number of requested contracts, but that started last week and it’s continued this week,” said Chris Mallick, CEO, Epoch/Paycom. “The offer is appreciated by the webmaster community and we’re seeing an increased number of requests, this week from last week, but last week was really significant.”

The Epoch promotion has been in the works since iBill’s problems began, according to Mallick. The promotion began Monday, October 4 and ends Friday, October 8. This news arrived as word began making way around the adult Internet that iBill – which said last week they will have a new processing bank beginning in November – is beginning to pay back monies due to affiliates, beginning with those whose delay has been the longest since iBill’s contract with First Data Bank expired in early September.

Epoch will pick up the Visa registration fee, which runs $750, on behalf of new merchant account holders. “A lot of people haven’t been getting their rebills through and haven’t been getting paid, so we have people that need a different solution and a lot of webmasters aren’t in the position to afford that now,” Mallick said.
