Even though Ty Endicott is launching his new studio with a smoking video, the fetish genre that he is best known for, he promises that Bouncy Pictures will be known for a lot more than smoking.
"I want to make it clear that we're not going to be a fetish company," Endicott told AVN.com. "We have a lot of mainstream lines coming out, but since the smoking genre is one of the areas of the industry that made me better known, I always want to have a couple of lines that are hardcore smoking."
Endicott started his career in adult three years ago with A Hard Act To Swallow, distributed by Dane Productions. Since then he has created nine more videos, mostly in the smoking genre, including Smokin' Blowjobs #1, the series that will launch Bouncy Pictures when it is released during the first week of May.
"There's a definite association with the oral fixation and the whole smoking and blowjob thing," Endicott said. "Since I was the first one ever to put out a hardcore smoking title, Anal Girls of Tobacco Road, I'm just following that particular line with this line."
Bouncy Pictures will also create SmokinBlowjobs.com, a Web destination for fans of the series.
Endicott said he went to great lengths to come up with right name for his new company, analyzing the market so that he could choose just the right word to convey what his company was about.
"A strong name should be two syllables, it should be an adjective, and it should be something having to do with sexuality and sexual energy in some way," Endicott said. "At the same time I wanted something that conveyed a positive vibe about sex, because that's how our company views it. We have a positive value system towards sex.
Another criteria Endicott had for the name was that it would work as an introduction for a contract girl. "So obviously Rock Hard Rod Productions wouldn't work, because you'd never hear a girl say, 'I'm a Rock Hard Rod Productions Girl.' It had to be something that would flow in that regard," he said.
The final criterion was that the brand name would have to work on T-shirts. "And what looks better stretched across a pair of D-cup titties than Bouncy?"
"Bouncy is such a positive, playful word that represent sex in a good light. I think it's a brand name that is going to translate well," Endicott said.
Bouncy Pictures will have release two to three titles a month to begin, then ramp their production schedule up as they grow and add new directors to their roster.
The fledgling studio will only release DVDs, all with foil covers. Each title will have two covers, one soft and one hard.
