Ellie Shoes to Unveil New Penthouse Collection

Ellie Shoes, Inc., in association with Penthouse Media Group Inc., is launching its “Penthouse Shoes” collection at the MAGIC Tradeshow convention in Las Vegas, this Monday through Wednesday.

Earlier this year, Penthouse Media Group Inc. (PMGI) signed an exclusive deal with Ellie Shoes, Inc. to design, manufacture and distribute the Penthouse Collection in the United States and Canada. Ellie’s team of designers worked closely with the PMGI Licensing group to come up with the line that currently has over 25 different styles of shoes and boots for consumers to choose from.

Adorned with a signature Penthouse Key rhinestone charm, each shoe is embossed with a metallic plaque that showcases the Penthouse name.

“We are all very excited about the new Penthouse collection,” said Ellen Renger, president of Ellie Shoes. “The reinvention is two-fold. We’re not only broadening our line with a new elegant assortment of shoes, but we’re adding to it with a brand that has international name recognition as well.”

Mark Rudolph, PMGI’s president of Licensing, said, “The team at Ellie Shoes is talented and dedicated…they are experienced at fashion trend forecasting, which led to their incorporation of the best materials, colors and designs for the Penthouse line.”

“While the Penthouse by Ellie line had a soft launch earlier this month at World Shoe Association, branded and non-branded buyers were equally excited about the styling,” added Renger. “The optimism is momentum for us since the entire Penthouse Shoe Collection will be available to ship in November of 2006.”

Cassia Riley, the Penthouse Pet of the Year Runner-Up 2006, will be appearing at the Ellie Shoes booth each day of the show, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. She will be wearing and showing off styles from the collection and will autograph headshots to guests who visit the Ellie booth.
