LOS ANGELES—Eli Cross, who reigned supreme at back-to-back AVN Awards in the mid-2000s with his epics Corruption and Upload, returns to adult feature directing for the first time since 2011 with new Wicked Pictures comedy The Pornographer.
Set in 1964, The Pornographer stars reigning AVN Mainstream Star of the Year James Deen as down-on-his-luck B-movie director Woody Salinger. With the demand for monsters, robots and aliens rapidly dissipating, Woody prepares to make the leap into "nudies," but the question remains: will this fuel his transition into the big time at last?
Cross isn't the only one returning to old tricks with The Pornographer—the movie also features AVN Hall of Famer Kylie Ireland engaging in an anal romp with Deen. In addition, the cast includes AVN Best Actress winner Kimberly Kane, AVN Unsung Starlet honoree Amber Rayne, Nicki Hunter, Katie Summers, Anthony Rosano, Christian XXX, Rocco Reed and Steve Holmes.
