LOS ANGELES—Elegant Angel Productions continues its tradition of featuring top performers in their own star vehicles this month with Dani, which stars girl/girl starlet Dani Daniels in every scene.
Daniels called the movie her favorite that she's shot.
"Mason called me one night when I was driving home from a shoot and told me Elegant wanted to give me a movie," she told AVN. "I swerved, almost crashed my Jeep, and instantly started crying; I was just so shocked. I had no idea it was coming; totally blindsided."
Daniels is featured in one-on-one encounters with Georgia Jones, Skin Diamond, Holly Michaels and Veronica Avluv.
"The most challenging part [of the entire process] was letting go," Daniels said. "I'm very controlling and very OCD, so letting Mason do a movie on me without much of my input was a little nerve wracking, but I had worked with her before and knew it would be epic—and it is! Mason's one of my favorite directors, so having her do this movie really meant a lot."
Daniels got to choose her co-stars and appreciated being shown in different scenarios
"Dani hit really close to home for me," the Orange County, Calif. native said. "Mason got really personal, which I was totally OK with, and she showed me a new way I could connect with my fans. Each scene is a 10-plus scene for me; each scene shows a different side of me. It's the best thing I've ever done, and I'm so proud of it.
"Plus it was so much fun to shoot! Mason and her team had me laughing every moment and really made me feel special. When I turned in my cast of girls I wanted, I was shocked when every girl could either do it or changed their schedule around so they could. It was so flattering. I think the movie is perfect."
Dani is being released through Elegant Angel's all-girl Club 59 imprint.
