PHILADELPHIA—The Exxxotica Expo was recently profiled on NJ.com, one of the Garden State’s most trafficked websites, as well as a feature story in the print edition of the Star-Ledger’s Inside Jersey magazine.

According to the feature story, Exxxotica vendors saw their sales receipts rise 20 percent from the previous year’s show. The article reported on attending companies like Entice Adult Superstore (Rome, Ga.), LA Direct Models, Skin Industries, Hedonism Resorts and exhibiting adult star Kelly Divine. The NJ.com account also mentions the 20,000 ticket holders attending “The Sexiest Show on Earth” who purchased everything from DVDs and sex toys to enhancement products and vacation packages.
“We have two priorities in holding our expos: provide ticket buyers with the sexiest event they’ve ever experienced and ensure our vendors receive the most exposure and retail success possible,” said J. Handy, director of Victory Tradeshow Management, producers of Exxxotica. “Exxxotica celebrates all avenues of ‘sexy,’ which requires a diverse list of exhibitors. Providing maximum media visibility is how we continually attract a strong list of companies and products, which translates into more consumers and fans.”
The NJ.com article quotes Charles Craton, owner of Entice Adult Superstore and a longtime Exxxotica exhibitor, as saying, “This location in Edison has turned out to be the best for an adult fan show. There is a great interest up here in this area, so you have a great turnout. … Look at all these people.”
The article details, “Novelties range from sex toys—dildos and vibrators of all sizes and colors—to sex swings. Skimpy bikinis in iridescent greens and pinks are displayed next to sky-high stilettos marketed to exotic dancers. Handcuffs for the bedroom or a whip, possibly to accessorize that new corset, retail for less than $40.”

Scheduled for May 20-22 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, it is expected to again have more than 20,000 attendees.
