ECW files federal lawsuits in a New York court against Sabu and XPW

PWTorch.com reports that the ECW wrestling organization has filed lawsuits both against pro wrestler Sabu and Rob Black's wrestling promotion, XPW. The suit against Sabu seeks undisclosed legal damages for breach of contract and anticipatory breach of contract. The suit filed against XPW seeks undisclosed financial damages for tortious interference with contractual relations regarding XPW's use of Sabu, plus infringement of copyright, infringement of service mark, and infringement of trademark. Paul Heyman told PWTorch.com, "Any questions on these issues should be directed to our lead council, Steve Stern." nnRob Black says he hasn't been served with the papers. Part of the brouhaha has been over XPW's use of the word Extreme; part of the fact is that Sabu is currently XPW's champion.
