HOLLYWOOD—A segment airing tonight on E! Entertainment News examines the crossover success stories of porn queens Jenna Jameson, Sasha Grey and Digital Playground contract star Riley Steele.
Titled "Adult Film Stars Go Mainstream," the piece includes interviews with Grey and Steele about their recent appearances in big Hollywood projects including Steven Soderbergh's The Girlfriend Experience, HBO's Entourage (both Grey) and hit horror flick Piranha 3D (Steele).
For Steele, who will be co-hosting the 2011 AVN Awards with Tori Black, being featured on E! is a major treat. "Oh my goodness, my TV is always on E!," she said. "It's the only channel I watch. I can't believe it!"
Added Digital Playground CEO Samantha Lewis, "Things are really taking off for Riley in the mainstream arena. Her Digital Playground popularity, coupled with the Piranha 3D release, has definitely had a domino effect."
The segment will also feature a budding star aspiring to follow the career path of the above three: Montana Fishburne, whose XXX Vivid Entertainment release Montana Fishburne has been perched at the very top of the AVN Retail Buzz chart since its August 10 release.
