CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Dynasty Group Distribution has signed Las Vegas-based classic porn label VCX to an exclusive U.S. DVD distribution deal.
The deal encompasses such VCX classics as Debbie Does Dallas, The Devil in Miss Jones, Sex World, Defiance and Little Girls Blue, as well as the company's 32 Gourmet Video Collection Collector titles and the recently acquired Cal-Vista library that includes Nothing to Hide, Easy, Sorority Pink, Eruption and Suzie Superstar.
VCX president David Sutton said the agreement will allow customers to receive product faster since Dynasty is located in Chatsworth, a short distance from major adult video distributors.
"Industry veteran Jon Islas, the president of Dynasty Group Distribution, has always impressed me with his knowledge of the classic genre and his relationships with the real players in adult distribution," Sutton said. "When he first told me of his intent to start a distribution company that specialized in the classics, I told him that I wanted to be his first company. I've known Jon for six years and count him as one of the best salesmen in the business, as well as a trusted friend."
VCX will retain online rights to its catalog. Sutton plans to focus on Internet development and VCX's re-entry into feature film production while Dynasty handles Stateside DVD distribution.
