CHATSWORTH, Calif.- AVN Hall of Fame performer Dyanna Lauren's decade-plus hiatus ends this weekend when she performs in two scenes for Wicked Pictures' 30 Love.
Lauren, a petite woman with 38D breasts, performed in nearly a hundred movies in the 90s including several as Vivid Girl. She won AVN awards for both her acting and her sexual performances in Vivid Video's Bad Wives in 1998. She stopped performing that same year, taking a break to pursue others goals which included marriage, children, and most recently - directing. Now divorced, Lauren's looking forward to have sex on camera once again.
"People have been asking me to come back for a while but it was never really the right time for me to step in front of the camera again until now. I've been around the industry more because I'm directing and people kept asking me ‘when, when, when?' I just couldn't hold back anymore," Lauren told AVN.
"I'm not doing this because I need the money. Everyone knows who I married and I divorced well, too. I'm not doing this to make a car payment; I'm doing this because I really enjoy having sex. "
Lauren's ex-husband is John Gray, the founder of the Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen's Club chain.
30 Love begins production this Sunday, April 26. The Brad Armstrong-helmed feature focuses on a former professional tennis player who takes a job teaching lessons at a country club to make ends meet. He quickly establishes a reputation for a having a great "stroke," something the women at the club are only too eager to learn about first hand during his "private" lessons.
Lauren will be performing in two scenes for 30 Love, an orgy and a boy/girl with Armstrong. "Brad and I go way back and I love him dearly. I have the utmost respect for him and all of the girls over there at Wicked."
The former Vivid Girl doesn't feel out of place working for Wicked. "I'll always be a Vivid Girl in my heart but that doesn't mean I don't love Wicked," she said. "Wicked is a great company and I totally respect that they give people the choice to wear condoms."
In addition to Lauren, 30 Love features a cast of thirty-something women, including Diamond Foxxx, Shay Sights, Holly Halston, Racquel Devine, Rayveness, Janet Mason, Max Makita, and Monique Fuentes. "Not everyone wants to watch adult movies with young girls all of the time. I think there's plenty of room in adult for women who really know their bodies," Lauren said.
The Wicked movie isn't a one-off for Lauren. She's back to performing for the foreseeable future. "I've always been comfortable in this arena," she said. "While I have a few more years that I can do it, this is where I want to be."
