DuoCash Cards Now For Online Gaming

DuoCash’s prepaid phone cards will be accepted for subscription payment on 29 different Internet-based adventure gaming sites by the end of the week, allowing players to play online by clicking on the PayByCash logo and entering the card’s 800 number and pin, the companies announced.

DuoCash is a known commodity in Adult Internet, where their prepaid cards can be used as a payment alternative with iBill merchants, but this is their first foray into the gaming realm.

The prepaid cards eliminate the need for credit card and personal information to be transferred over the Web and give gamers another way to access such game sites as Ultima Online and Dark Age of Camelot. The cards are available at thousands of locations throughout 30 states.

DuoCash COO Al Case said the cards should be available in 40 states by the end of the year. The company just added 2,000 locations last week and will add 8,000 this week, he said.

“This makes DuoCash, by default, the leading multi-game pay-for-play game card in the U.S. Unlike other game cards which must be used to play a single game or on a single site, the DuoCash card can be used at most of the leading game play sites – and, can be used at nearly 1,000 other online merchants to purchase downloads, ring tones, subscriptions and merchandise,” Case said.

PayByCash.com, which continues to expand its payment options, settles accounts with merchants at full retail and there are typically no processing fees when using the network. Of course, with prepaid cards, there are no chargebacks.

“Our focus is and will continue to be on increasing the number of payment options that make us accessible both to North Americans and international customers,” said Kevin Higgins, president of Internet Payment Solutions, the parent company of PayByCash.com.

“DuoCash is an exciting option for our consumer and game merchant clients. It offers anyone, especially kids and young adults, the opportunity to play online games without the hassles of borrowing a parent’s credit card, or buying and mailing money orders or checks. This is a convenient way for those without credit cards or bank accounts – or for those who don't want to put their personal information online – to pay for online subscription services.”

Other payment methods in the PayByCash network include Paynova, globalcollect, Splash Plastic, CertaPay, PayPal, Paymate, Western Union, e-gold, WebMoney Transfer, GoldMoney, payENKRYPT, hyperWALLET, Cyphermint's PayCash System, TravelersExpress MoneyGram, and Moneybookers.
