Ducati Productions has signed Craven Moorehead to produce and direct for the company.
Moorehead will take over production of select volumes of Strap It To Me, a girl/girl strap-on series, and Pigtail Cuties for Ducati Productions, which is distributed by Peter North’s Northstar Associates.
“We just completed working on a feature film for the band Danzig with Craven which he produced and directed,” owner Kevin Ducati said. “His professionalism and commitment to excellence shined throughout the production and are exactly the qualities we are looking for in our directors. Moorehead’s knowledge and expertise in all aspects of production will be a tremendous asset to the company.”
Moorehead told AVN.com he would continue to shoot all of North’s series, including the North Pole line, in addition to a harder-edged line he owns and Northstar distributes called Fuck Me Like the Whore That I Am, which is up to No. 2.
“It’s cool because now I have something I can do on the weekends. I’m shooting all of Peter’s stuff and Kevin saw Peter’s stuff and said, ‘I like your work.’ So it’s a compliment,” Moorehead said.
He added, “I liked their stuff to begin with. I felt I can add a little Moorehead twist to it. Besides, me and six porn chicks that I get choke all day, I love it! I also like the idea of not having to deal with wood problems or getting a good pop.”
The first Strap It To Me with Moorehead at the helm should be released later this summer.
