Multiple AVN Award-winning adult performer Dru Berrymore and veteran adult director Jennifer James recently formed ArchAngel Productions, a new production company with plans of releasing their first title in February.
ArchAngel finished shooting their first feature, The Vampire Chronicles Volume 2: The Rebirth of Nickolas Estaben, last month in the Hollywood Hills at a castle that was originally built in the 1930’s as a set for mainstream movies, an appropriate setting for a vampiric porn storyline.
The Vampire Chronicles are a trilogy that follows the sexual adventures of a young 19-century man who becomes a vampire then spends the next 100 years trying to win back the love of his reincarnated ex who has no idea who he is.
ArchAngel has taken the unusual approach of releasing the middle installment of the trilogy first, holding volume one back for release as a prequel.
The Vampire Chronicles cast includes Julie Meadows, Shay Sights, Venus, Lauren Phoenix, Julie Knight, Olivia O'Lovely, Nikki Hunter, Nick Manning, Steven St. Croix, Kylie Stone, Yasmin and Hollywood.

The video was shot with high-definition cameras, something ArchAngel intends to use for all of their titles.
“I have been producing and directing features in the adult world for many years now and this was the next logical step. We are very excited to make this leap into high definition,” James commented on Archangels high-def plans.
“We will only shoot in actual high definition and not anything that does not fit the broadcast specs for true HD,” added Berrymore.
ArchAngel is currently negotiating with distributors for DVD distribution, but has already landed a broadcast deal with CED.
