Dr. Tattoff Aims To Help Adult Industry Remove Unwanted Tattoos

Inspired by stories of adult industry stars who are unhappy with how their tattoos look onscreen, entertainment entrepreneur James Morel has opened Dr. Tattoff, described as the city's first outpatient laser tattoo removal center, and the accompanying Website, www.drtattoff.com.

"The newest laser technology allows people to have their ink removed quickly and without the scarring that used to occur," Morel, producer of E!'s Star Dates and former publisher of entertainment magazine POPsmear, told AVNOnline.com. "Now, stars and the general public can fix mistakes simply, without resorting to the old technique of bleach and a Brillo pad."

The "new" laser tattoo removal process is performed by Dr. Will Kirby, a Beverly Hills-based skin specialist who has extensive experience in dermatology, botox, and other "Hollywood" skin treatments.

"Dr. Kirby and I met at an industry party through a discussion where we shared stories of talent and production people we knew that wished they could get rid of their tattoos," Morel recalled. "We realized that we could offer that service as a team effectively and for a reasonable price."

Drtattoff.com offers detailed information on tattoo removal. Interested parties can view their "ugliest tattoo" contest, e-mail for an appointment, and order gift certificates for friends and family.

Dr. Tattoff provides laser tattoo removal services on Saturdays in Beverly Hills by appointment only. Call (888) TATTOFF (828-8633) or visit the Website.
