Mercenary Pictures owner Lexington Steele has given a vote of confidence to Domina X’s burgeoning directorial talent. The entertainer perhaps best known for her aggressive approach to female sexuality will take over the studio’s Superwhores series starting with the third volume.
Domina X has performed in front of the camera as Vanessa Blue since 1996 and currently directs Mercenary’s Black Reign series. Superwhores will be her third series after Reign and a series of female masturbation movies she shot in Los Angeles.
X describes her approach to movies in part as working from an interest in empowering female performers and a belief that women are as good as men when it comes to understanding male arousal.
For the Superwhores series specifically, X told AVN.com she enjoyed “shooting all kinds of girls, and getting to apply aggressive sex to girls of all races.”
According to Steele, X’s work on Black Reign has made that title the company’s second-best seller.
Steele added that her work with female performers is exemplary. “The girl is very much in control of things, although we keep it very nasty,” said Steele.
The third volume of Superwhores finished shooting in late August and will be released in October.
