Doghouse Digital debuts their new packaging featuring O-cards, glossy cardboard covers that fit over a DVDs jewel case, with today’s release of Sorority Secrets 3.
The O-cards will be printed with a soft version of the cover, and the jewel case insert will feature the hard version of the cover, allowing retailers to easily display their preferred version.
Both the O-card and the jewel case insert are highlighted by holographic foil, a costlier foil that Doghouse Digital began using last year. Traditional foil has to be viewed from a certain angle to be effective, whereas holographic foil offers optimal viewing from any angle.
Doghouse Digital’s former packaging offered a reversible jewel case insert with a soft version printed on one side, and the hard version printed on the other. The new jewel case inserts include photographs of the girls and an ad promoting additional Doghouse titles on one side, with the hard cover printed on the other. “The first thing a consumer will see when he opens up the jewel case is an ad promoting additional Doghouse titles,” notes Doghouse Digital general manager Jon B. “
Previously released titles will be updated with the newest packaging during their next reprint.
Sorority Secrets 3, directed by Rod Vicious, is a girl/girl movie with a collegiate theme featuring eight of Montreal’s most popular adult performers, including Angee, Sarah Moon, Vanessa Gold, Melissa Doll, and more.
“Sorority Secrets is one of our most popular girl/girl series. This volume has panty raids, French maids, and an initiation orgy,” Jon B said. “It’s exactly the sort of movie that will encourage the viewer to pick up another one of the titles that we’re plugging inside the DVD jewel case.”
