Dirty Doctors Dinged in Korean E-Porn Crackdown

The president of a monthly medical journal who is known only as Moon was among the six booked April 21 by the police cybercrime squad for creating and running a doctors-only adult website

Five of the six suspects, including a doctor police identified only as Park, were arrested for uploading porn to the website more than 10 times, according to Korean news reports.

"Maybe we'll have a telethon on next week's show to raise bail for our fellow 'smut doctors' in Korea," Kevin Godbee, the executive producer of SmutDrs, joked to AVNOnline.com in response to the news. "Perhaps we'll have to travel to Korea. Those Asian chicks are super hot! On second thought, we better stay in Miami where we fit right in."

Moon created an Internet "porn café," Dr. Casanova, in 2004, police said, allowing only doctors to join and uploading over 1,300 adult video clips and images, which Moon reportedly told police he hoped would persuade more doctors to subscribe to his publication.

Police said 1,980 doctors survived "the stringent vetting process" through which Moon put them, including checking their medical license numbers or verifying their standing at area hospitals, though most of the doctors who joined worked primarily in private practice.

"Apparently, it's ok to eat Fluffy, Spot, or Fido in Korea, but you better not get a woody from looking at porn, even if you're a doctor, or you'll get arrested," Godbee said. "That's too bad for these poor doctors that got arrested for participating in a porn site.

"I'm happy to report that the original SmutDrs are not only safe and sound in hedonistic Miami, but appreciated more than ever," he continued. "We were out for Mexican food last week, and this guy was all over Dr. Johnny like he was the biggest celebrity. He even followed him outside after dinner to keep talking to him."

South Korea began an Internet porn crackdown earlier this year, when a swingers’ website owner was arrested, even though published reports indicated there were limits to what could be done about that site since it involved consenting adults.
