Adult director Van Styles was recently recognized in the internationally distributed skateboard magazine, Transworld Skateboarding. In the magazine’s current October issue, Styles, a former professional skateboard instructor himself, was referred to as a “sponsor” by pro skater, Nick McLouth.
Styles said the recognition comes from the fact that he has been stocking McLouth with adult titles since the two met, seven months ago.
“Basically, all of my skate friends know that I’m an adult director,” Styles told AVN.com. “Nick loves porn, so when he found out that I directed the stuff, he asked me about it….and I’ve been hooking him up ever since.
“He told me he wanted to mention me as a sponsor in the magazine, and I said ‘great.’”
Styles got his start with Video Team in 2002, and currently shoots the majority of his titles for Hustler Video, helming such releases as Take It Black, Ass Appeal, Young Latin Ass and the acclaimed Barely Legal: Corrupted for the company.
At 25, Styles is the youngest lensman on the Hustler directorial roster. Styles’ next release will be A List 2, and stars Jenna Haze, Shyla Stylez, Hillary Scott, Tori Lane and Kaiyla Lynn.
