Dino Bravo to Donate Scene Earnings to MDA

Male performer Dino Bravo said he will donate the earnings from an upcoming scene to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). The MDA is readying itself for the annual, nationally-syndicated “Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon,” which will air this September 3 and 4.

Bob, vice president at Dane Productions, who has been spearheading an adult industry campaign to raise money for the fight against neuro-muscular diseases, told AVN.com that he was in his office when Bravo overhead one of his phone conversations with a representative from the MDA.

“Dino said he would donate whatever money he is paid from his next scene to the Muscular Dystrophy Association,” said Bob. “I hope it’s a great scene, and he gets a great fee… maybe with a little something extra for his kindness.”

Bob recently announced that the Dane, along with several other fundraising campaigns, will donate a percentage of all its sales for the month of August to the MDA.

Bravo has been in the adult industry since 2001, and appeared in over 160 titles, including releases from studios such as Ninn Worx, Hustler and Metro.

Bob added that he has gathered a group of volunteers to represent the Free Speech Coalition, an industry legal watchdog, at the telethon on September 3. Bob said that the group, thus far, consists of himself, Mara Epstein, Elizabeth Vasquez, Marty O’Malley, Anthony Pucillo, Tony Teresi, Tiffany Bell, Michelle Freridge, Dimitri Cosmos, Jonathan Rae, Sue George, Robyn Castello, Dave Tobey and Victoria Dunn.

Bob told AVN.com that he is still seeking volunteers and donations. He can be reached at (818) 349-6600 or 888-390-0767, and at (818) 400-4190 after business hours.

All those wishing to make a contribution to the Muscular Dystrophy Association from the adult industry, which Bob will try to get recognized on the air, Labor Day Weekend, can send their check or money order, made out to MDA, to:
