Aids Project of Los Angeles has put their stamp of approval on the Wicked Pictures' public service announcements [as first reported on the April 30 site] for condoms. The announcements will be sent to the cable networks for future airing. These ared 15 and 30-second spots featuring Serenity, Miss, Mickey G. and Stephanie Swift.
The recent Jenna Jameson/Nikki Tyler appearances on the Howard Stern radio show will be rebroadcast by the E! Channel on June 7th and 8th.
Comedy Central's "The Man Show" which premieres June 16 will feature Jenna Jameson, Serenity and Stephanie Swift providing household tips to viewers in a segment titled "Household Tips From Adult Film Stars." Look for the girls to add a little excitement to mundane chores on segments airing June 23, June 30, July 21, July 28 and, as yet, an undetermined date in August.
The E! Channel will air "Wild on the Riviera" during the month of June and will feature Jenna, Serenity, Missy and Stephanie Swift in several segments. The show was taped during the 1999 Cannes Film Festival.
The channel is airing reruns from Cannes festivals' past to set the table for the new show which may have its first airing June 5. Monday, May 31 begins with the airing of the 1994 Wild on the Riviera. The shows will be broadcast at midnight. The 1999 show will air 9pm on June 5.
The Wicked crew also spent the better part of this year's festival being lensed by Entertainment Tonight, Bravo, Channel 5 Sweden and Channel 4 London. Jenna was also featured in a front page story in the Hollywood Reporter, Cannes edition on May 16, and a similar article in the May 19 Los Angeles edition.
At the 8th Annual Hot Video Award Show on May 19, Wicked took home the Hot d'Or for Best American Film for Brad Armstrong's Flashpoint. The feature is known as L'incendiaire in France and is distributed by Video Marc Dorcel. Star of Flashpoint, and a three times Best Actress winner at Hot d'Or, Jameson also received a Special Achievement Award alongside Marc Dorcel starlet Laure Sinclair.
Other Hot d'Or winners who appeared in Wicked features were Jill Kelly who won Best American Actress for her role in Exile and Mark Davis for Best American Actor in Jenna's Revenge.
Video Marc Dorcel took home several awards including Best European Movie, Best European Actor, Best Screenplay and Best European Actress. Wicked Pictures distributes the Marc Dorcel line in the United States.
\n From the sounds of it, Ron Daniels, of the fledgling Sexmagic Productions, is evidently not going to be a grassroots supporter of talent agent DK in the upcoming presidential primaries. Like Bruno and CJ Bennett, Daniels has his own particular story to tell.
Daniels: "This guy DK thinks he can harass and snag girls from other managers. He's been messing with the girl that I manage, Mara Pleasures. He's been squiring her about town and claiming to represent her even though she's still under contract with me. I'm Mara's manager. I brought her out here, I paid for her to come out here. In fact she promised to reimburse me for some of the not so insubstantial sums that I've advanced to her. She's got an inheritance. The next thing I know I didn't see dime one of anything that she promised and that she's fallen under this guy's sway. Everyone I've talked to this morning said he's a real sleaze and that he's tried very predatory things with CJ Bennett.
"We're retooling our website and are going much bigger. Mara was going to be my feature star. So far I only have one release out, a very low budget thing I did for Sunshine. We're doing some outside productions for other companies to pay the bills. And I was one-stopping. There's no margin in that, now. I've been the buisness now for 4 1/2 years and have always been well respected as not poaching anybody from any company. I play fair. I don't harass anybody. Then I hear something like this happening so close to home. This guy comes in and thinks he can break this contract. I had Mara Pleasures under a six-month contract. Unfortunately, she never did follow much of my advice. I told her not to work for Johnny Toxic. Then, behind my back, she did a whole scene for them for $50. It got around the whole industry, and she wonders why her rates are not keeping up there.
"You fart in this business and the rumor gets around you shit all over yourself. Next thing I know DK's squiring Mara around to the Hustler party last night. I heard that from four different sources this morning all who are calling him an asshole."
Hustler/LFP's party last night at the Rainbow Bar and Grill on the Sunset Strip celebrated the release of Jail Babes magazine. Among those present were Alexandra Silk and Luc Wylder, Capri Cameron, Jail Babes 3 star Sonja Redd; Kristen, Jon Dough and Monique deMoan; Erotica LA impresario Ron Miller and Brook Hunter; Dominic, Kid Vegas, Amia Moré, and Houston. VCA Xplicit honcho Harry Weiss was seen dining with Ed Powers and Dave Cummings. Both floors inside and both patios outside were hopping after midnight. Kid Vegas came with an entouage that consisted of a body guard and new gal pal, Lee whom Vegas met at Jim South's.
