Digital Playground announced the signing of their first female director to an exclusive contract. Celeste’s first project for the company is the Story of J, scheduled to be released this week.
“Celeste has a very unique style which compliments Digital Playground,” company founder Joone said. “She has an eye for fashion, art and beauty and implements this in her movies. Having a female director on staff will help extend our product into new markets.”
Celeste, who called AVN.com while on her way to a quickie vacation before the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas in two weeks, effused, “Digital Playground is a place where I can expand and grow with future projects.”
Digital Playground President Samantha Lewis echoed Joone’s decision to sign Celeste, saying, “Celeste has a perverse passion that is apparent in her story telling and Story of J says it all.
Celeste is magnificent and I want her talent on Digital Playground’s roster.”
In addition to Story of J, Celeste has three projects in post-production that will release in 2005.
