BURBANK, California—Digital Playground has been conducting its highly publicized search for “the next DP Star,” and today the adult studio revealed the top six contestants. The inclusion of six finalists was a departure from the studio's stated plan to select only five—a move made “because the competition was too strong.”
The semi-finalists have already enganged in boy/girl sex challenges. In a company statement, DP indicated “the competition is seductively fierce.”
Now, the fans will decide who will be in the top three slots.
Once votes are tallied, the final three performers will compete in a live sex challenge in January. The DP Star winner—who will be announced at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo on January 21— will receive a one-year contract with Digital Playground, a leading role in a 2015 Digital Playground feature, and a Fleshlight deal. And, of course, a wealth of publicity from being associated with a powerful adult brand.
