Digital Playground Gets Mainstream Love

Earlier this month KTTV Fox 11 aired a segment on interactive adult DVDs that featured Digital Playground's Virtual Sex series.

Network executives used footage of contract-performers Devon and Jesse Jane to promote the two-minute segment on radio and television prior to the airing. According Digital Playground publicist Adella, the hype resulted in an increased audience, taking KTTV from their average 3.5 rating to 4.1 and making Fox 11 the leading newscast in Los Angeles on Friday night.

Adella also reports that the segment used footage of both Devon: Stripped and RUSH, even though they aren't interactive titles.

"I'd like to thank everyone at KTTV, Fox 11 for their inclusion and open mindedness. We've been working with the producer and his crew for several months and at every step, they were exceptional," said Digital Playground president Samantha Lewis. "This kind of coverage shows the public that the adult industry is a major leader of technology, I am honored that Digital Playground was chosen to model this."

In another mainstream coup for DP, Stun!, a popular men's lifestyle magazine, published an article about contract-performer Devon in December. With a circulation of 500,000 STUN! magazine is successfully delivering hot babes, sex, humor, sports and gizmos to men who want more.

In January, Devon made the cover of Access Unlimited, a niche magazine serving the import auto industry. Photos for both magazines were taken by DP co-founder Joone.
