Did Linda Thoren sign a contract with Sin City? Apparently, only her hairdresser knows for sure. After the announcement of the Thoren signing, this note came in from Gerrie Lim, Associate Editor of Swelinda, www.swelinda.com
Lim: "Hi Gene --Just checked out your industry gossip site, great stuff! I'm writing to see if you've ran or would like to run something about the current bidding war for Linda Thoren. The Swedish star is now negotiating for a contract -- both Sin City and Pleasure Productions are pursuing her. For more info and updates on this situation, write me back. (I work on her website.) Ross wrote Lim back and informed her, that, to his knowledge, Thoren's Sin City thing was a done deal. No one from Pleasure had returned calls. Lim wrote back: "Nope, it's not true. Just got a note from Linda herself, and she says she has NOT signed with anyone yet. What you heard is what Sin City is probably bragging to everyone."
Lim's most recent note was dated last Friday. We talked to people over at Sin City who seemed surprised about this development. Sin City says this: "We're taking care of her [Thoren's] arrangements at Cannes, why would she keep writing to us? Linda has given us confirmation that she's coming to Cannes to be there for Sin City and to work at our booth. If the deal is not done, she better not be faxing us asking us to pay for her. Her pictures are already going into AVN and everything."
