After releasing their first two titles last spring, Diablo Films has stepped up their production schedule for a flood of new releases at “the end of summer,” according to Charlie Warren, whose FTP Distribution markets the product.
“We are scheduling 12 titles for the rest of the year,” Warren told AVN.com.
Diablo Films was created last January when Warren hooked up with Freddie Diablo, who had made a couple of adult titles and was looking for a distributor. Diablo is now Artistic Director.
To get the movies to wholesalers, Warren made good use of the distribution expertise he picked up after long stint with Mantra Films, producers of the million-selling Girls Gone Wild and Guys Gone Wild lines.
Diablows One, the first volume of a blowjob series, and Diablo Girls 1, a new-girl line, came out last spring.
“We will continue both series,” Warren said. “Both did fairly well for a brand new company.” Vols. 2 and 3 of each series are scheduled for fall release. “We’re always looking for new girls,” he added.
Diablo’s first end of summer release will be State of Penetration, the first volume of a new Diablo Films XXX line. Diablo’s first interracial release, it will be followed by a Best Of Diablo Films.
Warren’s FTP also distributes Scumhunter, a fem-dom line featuring women dominating males, from Media Hunter. “It’s really edgy, good quality stuff,” Warren said. Scumhunter 1 and 2 are releasing this week.
