Former Digital Playground contract star Devon, former Vivid Video contract star Tawny Roberts and former Hustler contract star Jessica Jaymes are the premier signings for the new company, Ecstasy Mobile.
Ecstasy Mobile, which is launching at this week's AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, looks to be an adult provider for your mobile phone. The company will offer members streaming videos, wallpaper downloads, “moantone” downloads, SMS chat features and MMS communication and interaction with adult stars.
“We’ve been looking at some pretty amazing technology to use with Ecstasy Mobile,” said Marvin Jones Jr., a partner at Ecstasy Mobile. “We’re looking at the possibility of streaming four full-length features, directly to your phone. That’s pretty amazing. Streaming the films will allow them to take a lot less time, and they won’t take up any space on your phone.”
Devon left Digital Playground four months ago for reasons she wished not to make public.
“I’m still good friends with [president] Samantha Lewis, so there’s no hard feelings there,” Devon told AVN.com.
Devon is now exclusively contracted with Ecstasy Mobile, for 10 films a year.
Ecstasy also signed Roberts as an exclusive contract girl and business partner, in late December. Roberts did not re-sign with Vivid told AVN.com, “gain more control over my career, for the future.”
Roberts and Devon, along with Jaymes, comprise Ecstasy Mobile's main focus, though the company plans on expanding into broader areas of adult film.
Ecstasy Mobile is planning to make Devon Loves Tawny, a nod to previous, well-known Vivid titles, as its first feature. This will be the first time the two girls will work together.
“I’m really excited to work with Tawny on our very first feature," Devon said.
Ecstasy Mobile plans to put two features out a month, starting in February. Jones Jr. said that the company will release the films initially, “for mobile only” and then they will be released on DVD.
