Devil's Film Sold to Pipedream Toys CEO

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Following weeks of speculation, Pipedream CEO Nick Orlandino has finalized his purchase of Devil's Film, giving the veteran novelty executive and his Giant Media Group complete control over Devil's extensive catalog and day-to-day operations.

With the buyout complete, Orlandino promoted Eric Gutterman to vice president of operations and Steve Volponi to vice president of sales and production.

Orlandino finalized the deal April 4, and assumed control of the company April 5. Keith Repult, Devil's former owner, approved the transaction and  has retired from the adult industry to focus on other business endeavors.

Orlandino is optimistic about the future, and he's confident that his veteran leadership will bring Devil's continued success.

"I'm excited to have such a great team in place to run the company as Pipedream consumes most of my time," Orlandino said. "I look forward to seeing what Eric and Steve can do and I can't wait to get the ball rolling."

The acquisition is a passive investment for Orlandino, according to a press release, and independent of Pipedream. All of Devil's current management and staff will remain intact following the transition.
