Interactive Adult Internet marketing firm Detour Interactive has not only become a sponsor of Adult Sites Against Child Pornography but they're offering client webmasters a little incentive to join the anti-child porn group themselves: free press release distribution by Detour during 2005, based on levels of ASACP support.
Detour president Danielle Simons said some webmasters previously asked about joining or contributing to ASACP but could not for several reasons, from their sites not requiring 2257 disclaimers to their being non-adult sites or on limited budgets.
But with ASACP revising its Supporter program to let you join for as little as $50 a year, it's now a little easier to support the child porn-fighting group. And Simons said the free press release incentive is "my own personal way" of supporting ASACP, a group she has very strong feelings about. "By offering webmasters an extra incentive to becoming members," she continued, announcing the Detour ASACP incentives, "we hope to help aid in the growth of the ASACP."
Simons knows from webmasters who couldn't afford to kick in with ASACP before – she was one of them, she told AVNOnline.com.
“I have been observing ASACP for quite a while and unfortunately I was always one of those webmasters that simply could not allocate the funds to become a member," she said. "Once I finally found that I was in a position to do so, I had my own company and realized that I could utilize my business offerings to benefit ASACP and its cause far beyond just my membership. I am hopeful that webmasters will take full advantage of this opportunity and not only becomes members and support a wonderful organization, but market their sites as well.”
Those who join at the Supporter level get one week's worth of free press release distribution by Detour to all Adult Internet resource sites or boards. Those who join at the Guardian level get two weeks; at the Crusade level, four weeks; and, those who join at the Executive level get four weeks to both.
