Speaking from his hotel room, Dennis Hof, proprietor of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch of Carson City, Nevada, was expansive about HBO's launching a fourth season of the highly-rated late-night program.
"We're in New York and we're promoting the second season of 'Cathouse,'" said Hof. "It's been an amazing ride. The ratings last year were fantasic. TV Week said we beat HBO's 'Entourage,' 'Monk' on USA Network, and we were HBO's highest-rated non-fiction show ever. What nice credentials those are."
Hof explained a bit of the second season debut, which airs on February 10. "We start out with an episode called 'Too Hot to Trot,' and what it does is introduce Brooke Taylor. It catches her getting off the airplane and coming to the ranch and meeting everybody and then her first 'party' is captured on camera. I tell you what: it's real hot. Amazingly hot. Here's a girl who had more sex that week than she had in all her life."
Those familiar with the previous season and two earlier documentaries on the Moonlite Bunny Ranch will see that the show is not remaining static. Hof promised, "We'll definitely see some new faces this season. This series is going to be over the top."
"Cathouse Season Two" will run exclusively on HBO. Check local listings for broadcast times.
