Delaware Loses Via KO

Dick Delaware, aka Aaron Brink, got knocked out by Buckley Acosta at King of the Cage: Final Conflict on Friday night at Soboba Casino.

Acosta stopped Brink 10 seconds into the first round of their light-heavyweight, 205-pound scrap, sending the eight-year-veteran to his fourth straight loss.

Brink (25-17-1), who once fought UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski at UFC 28 in 2000, was making his second appearance at King of the Cage, considered one of the top mixed-martial-arts promotions in the U.S. after the Ultimate Fighting Championship. On Oct. 29 at King of the Cage: Execution Day in Reno, Nev., Brink lost to Richard Montoya via a submission.

In the days leading up to Friday's fight, Brink said he might consider retiring from the sport depending on the outcome, though he did have another fight scheduled for Dec. 16 in San Diego.
