The Dec. 31 edition of the New York Times profiled porn star De’Bella as part of a Fashion and Style feature on “mature” talent in the adult industry.
Sharon Waxman’s article “The Graying of Naughty” reported a growing market for the older-woman genre. Focusing on De’Bella as an embodiment of the trend, the Times accompanied the performer to a shoot with Rod Fontana and director Urbano Martin.
The Times article quoted numerous adult industry sources, including director/performer Dave Cummings, Wicked Pictures national sales manager Bonnie Kail, Platinum X president David Joseph and AVN’s Mark Kernes.
