Internet porn fans that have seen the video for "Shake Your Blood" by Foo Fighter frontman Dave Grohl's death metal side-project Probot likely noticed some familiar faces shakin' their butts to the grinding, metallic sounds. The faces and butts in question belong to the ladies of SuicideGirls.com, a popular Website that features Goth-punk ladies in sexy, skimpy photos and videos.
It turns out Grohl is a fan of the site and the girl's feminist-meets-bombshell attitude. Grohl handpicked the girls to appear in the clip, alongside metal legends Lemmy Kilmister of Mot�rhead and Scott "Wino" Weinrich of Obsessed/St. Vitus fame.
"Dave came over to pick up some Suicide Girl swag and he asked us if we'd like to get involved in the first video from his new Probot record," Suicide Girls co-founder Missy Suicide told AVNOnline.com. "Of course we said, 'Yes, we'd love to,' and 70 Suicide Girls ended up in the video."
The clip features the half-naked Suicide Girls, covered in tattoos and sporting multi-colored hair, dancing to the music as Grohl and his heavy metal heroes rock out. There's even Suicide Girls "SG" logo on Grohl's bass drum.
The track is off the former Nirvana drummer's Probot album, to be released later this month on Southern Lord, which features guest turns from some of underground metal's biggest names, including Snake (Voivod), Cronos (Venom), Max Cavalera (Soulfy/ex-Sepultura), Tom G. Warrior (Celtic Frost), Eric Wagner (Trouble), King Diamond (Mercyful Fate), Lee Dorrian (Cathedral/ex-Napalm Death), Mike Dean (Corrosion of Conformity), Kurt Brecht (D.R.I.), and Soundgarden's Kim Thayil.
"I am paying tribute to these people," Grohl told MTV News. "We're just kind of making rock music, and having a good time."
A good time is right. The fun lovin' Suicide Girls have been in other music videos as well, and have many more appearances scheduled for maximum crossover appeal.
"The girls have been in a number of other videos on their own, and a few were in a King Black Acid video," noted Missy about her sexy, rockin' gals, who have also been performing in a burlesque show nationwide. "We have the girls booked in three more videos to shoot over the next six months."
