Daughter of Larry Flynt Dies from Injuries in Auto Accident

The Dayton Daily News has reported that Lisa K. Flynt-Fugate, daughter of Hustler founder Larry Flynt and sister of Theresa Flynt, passed away today at 1:58 p.m. from injuries sustained in an automobile accident a week ago.

Reports on various news sites reported her injuries were the result of an automobile accident that took place in Riverside, Ohio, on October 17. Flynt failed to halt at a stop sign and ran into a tractor trailer. She was thrown from her vehicle and pinned underneath it for 45 minutes before she could be rescued.

A passenger in the car, 24-year-old Dayton resident Cierra D. Mallory, was treated for injuries and released.

Flynt was taken to the intensive care unit at Miami Valley Hospital. According to the Dayton Daily News, Riverside police stated in a news release on Sunday that alcohol was "a factor in the crash." But on Monday doctors reported that "Flynt likely had a seizure before the crash."

Flynt passed away quickly after she was removed from life support while surrounded by family and friends. The Dayton Daily News reported that Flynt's father was on the phone at the time of her passing.

AVN extends its condolences to the Flynt family for their loss.
