Evil Angel director Jonni Darkko will host Blakkat Party, featuring techno and soulful house music from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. Saturday at Casey’s Irish Bar & Grille at 613 S. Grand in downtown Los Angeles.
“I haven’t had much time for parties lately, so I thought this would give me a chance to get some friends together and party,” said Darkko, who will also play DJ for part of the evening.
“I just want people to come and have a good time. There’s no cover so there’s no excuse.”
Besides Darkko, Mark “Blakkat” Bell, Black Liquid and Chuck Flask will also handle DJ duties.
Darkko, who also produces for various recording artists, is preparing to release Load Sharing, featuring Tory Lane and Roxy Jezel, in April, followed by Blue Bangers 3, with Adriana Nicole and Candy Manson, set for release in May.
Darkko, who began his directing career for New Sensations, is known for such titles as 2004’s Angels of Debauchery and last year’s Trophy Whores, both of which were for Evil Angel.
