Dark Angel

Interviewed at the New Sensations booth during CES, director Nic Andrews said he had to change the ending of his big vampire movie, Dark Angel, when Jewel De'Nyle inadevertently let the cat out of the bag on geneross.com.

"It was an accident," Andrews laughed. "Jewel didn't know the ending was going to be so secretive. Nobody knew about it except the crew and the people who were working on it. The script didn't even have the last eight pages in it so that nobody would know because of the big, special effects, spectacular ending. I rewrote the ending, but I will not tell you how it ends.

"We shot the first half of it in December," Andrews continued. "We had problems coordinating the cast and crew around the holidays. So we're picking up shooting at the end of January."

Andrews said he cut a no-blood version of the DRK ANGEL trailer for the CES show. "But after looking at the other booths, I wasn't concerned at all," said Andrews who did mainstream, erotic thrillers on the east coast, primarily in New York and Massachusetts. "Scott Taylor the owner of New Sensations was interested in seeing my demo reel," Andrews added. "I sent him one. He called me up the next day and said if you can do that in adult, you can do some really good stuff. He offered me a contract to shoot with them for a year. It expired at CES last year. We renewed and I'm still here."
