Dane Productions Vice President Bob told AVN.com today that the company will be re-doing a number of its titles to fit the VHS format. Bob said that the company has begun pre-orders on VHS copies for 130 of its titles, and the company will be ready to ship them in a few weeks.
“Due to demand from our many valued customers, Dane Productions has decided to re-do 100 plus of its titles on VHS,” Bob told AVN.com. “We’ve been getting this feedback for the last couple of months, and so we decided to act on it.”
Bob went on to say that the re-formatted titles will include some of the companies bestsellers, such as Nineteen, University Coeds, Oral Exams, Virgin Stories, Panty World and Runaways.
“You’d be surprised to find out how many people still have VHS recorders and tapes, and are reluctant to give them up,” Bob continued. “I mean, I still have a VHS player of my own in my bedroom.”
“We at Dane have always tried to listen to our customers, and try to produce what they ask for, and the VHS format is no exception. These will be brand new inside and out… nothing that has sat on the shelf for a few years.
“If people want them, we’ll make them.”
