Adult production company Damaged Pictures has released Nantucket Housewives, which was produced by Marilyn Chambers and directed by Bud Lee, both AVN Hall of Famers.
Lewis Adams, vice president of sales for Damaged Pictures, told AVN.com that the title is a story-driven feature about a married couple (played by real-life partners, Kirsten Price and Barrett Blade) who move from New York to start a new life on picturesque Nantucket Island.
Price plays a would-be romance novelist in the relase and Barrett her psychiatrist husband, who is going into practice at a clinic staffed by fellow shrink Kelly Kline. Kline, however, daydreams so much about sex that it's growing increasingly difficult for her to get any work done.
The story takes a turn when both Blade and Price get wandering eyes in their new surroundings.
Nantucket Housewives was directed and shot in Hi-Def by the industry veteran Lee. The title was shot in October of 2005. Chambers (star of the classic adult film, Behind the Green Door) headlines the cast in a non-sex role, while the cast also includes Jenaveve Jolie, Brooke Haven, Kline, Sativa Rose and a cameo by Ron Jeremy.
“The title was also produced by Marilyn Chambers and Pillow Talk Films [PTF],” explained Adams.
In addition to Chambers, Lee and Damaged Pictures, the production team also included veteran director of photography, Jack Remy.
“The sex in the movie is indicative of the story,” Adams continued. “It is very sensual, and there is a lot of kissing. There was no doubt the performers were really into each other.”
Adams told AVN.com that he’s very happy with the sales that the title has already produced. “The sales are fantastic.
“I think the combination of the pretty box cover and provocative story appealed to the ladies…and hot girls appeal to everybody.”
