A saleswoman for Sex Z Pictures and LGI Digital made her adult feature debut Thursday.
After flying from her home in Manassas, Va. Wednesday, 21-year-old Candy Delight is giving new meaning to the term ‘fresh off the bus,’ or plane for that matter. She filmed her first adult scene Thursday with veteran performers Alana Evans and Shane Collins in the Roy Karch film, Beverly Hills Party Girls.
“I see so much porn flying through here on a daily basis that I wondered if I could go to Los Angeles, get naked and have sex on camera,” Delight told AVN.com.
The move from sales to the front of the camera is a radical one. Prior to arriving in Los Angeles, Delight’s only connection to the business was selling LGI-distributed DVDs over the phone. Nonetheless, she seems to have performing in her bones.
Delight first rose to a sort of cult celebrity at this year’s Erotica LA when unbeknownst to her co-workers, she changed into some dominatrix gear and climbed onto a podium, much to the crowd’s delight.
“Everything was going really nicely in our display booth, but when Candy got naughty things got a bit out of control,” Bo Kenney, owner of Sex Z Pictures, told AVN.com.
Attendees began asking if she was an adult performer and the seed was planted.
Karch, an AVN and XRCO Hall of Famer and director of more than 1,000 films, claims she’s a natural.
“She’s got the looks. She’s definitely got the attitude,” he said. “I would say she has ‘it.’”
Beverly Hills Party Girls will be released on October along with a new lineup of gonzo titles from Sex Z Pictures.
