DSMcard: Adult Online Credit Card Rocks

Ever dream about a special credit card that works for all your online adult needs? Well, DSMcard.com is now offering the DSMcard, a credit card that can be used to purchase adult items from online merchants.

The DSMcard allows individuals to make an online purchase of any legal item,

adult or not, legitimately from any online DSMcard merchant. The items can then be delivered online electronically or shipped to the customer. Online merchants can get back to running their businesses, rather than worrying about how to accept payments from customers.

“We’ve offered credit to our long-time customers for years, just like many other businesses do,” assistant director of e-commerce Kayla Starr told AVNOnline.com. “We are just now offering the DSMcard to other merchants so that those other businesses can accept the DSMcard from their customers. The DSMcard is meant to facilitate commerce, to get business transactions done – like the goal of the first credit cards.”

All you have to do to get a DSMcard is apply. You get a bill in the mail

each month and you make payments on your balance like a normal credit card.

So why does someone need a credit card specifically for adult purchases?

In recent years, payment systems have popped up trying to fill the need for online adult purchases, but they often make consumers jump through hoops just to use their own money to make a purchase; and sometimes, they even make customers pay a system fee for the privilege of jumping through these hoops.

“Plus, in real world stores, you can use normal credit cards to make purchases no matter if the item is adult or not; but often in the online world it is difficult for merchants to legitimately accept credit cards for online purchases of anything remotely ‘adult’ in nature,” Starr noted. “In the last two years, legitimately accepting normal credit cards online has gone from not [being] a problem to being almost impossible today.”

With all the major credit card brands creating new rules and new fees again and again, DSMcard believes it is just a matter of time before those brands completely prohibit the purchase of any adult item from an online merchant.

“Third party processors only handle electronic delivery of items purchased. A merchant is allowed to sell an electronic version of a video, but is not allowed to ship to a customer the tangible or physical tape/disk version of it. So merchants have already had to give up a big part of their potential business to fit into the mold required by the major credit card companies.”

In this ever-changing world of adult online credit card processing, the DSMcard, and others like it, may indeed be the wave of the future for online merchants.

“Individuals and merchants should view it as important as any other credit card they have,” said Starr. “It will start small, but the card will be very useful for some merchants and individuals in getting transactions completed. The DSMcard will bring people together.”
