LOS ANGELES—DNA owner Dennis D. has always been a busy man. While DNA is still in business, though with a lower profile, he’s got mainstream projects firing on all cylinders.
D. told AVN today that he’s currently filming a reality TV show that’s slated to air this fall that follows the exploits of him and two friends.
The entrepreneur also is a partner in Dr. Tea’s, a tea garden and herbal emporium, which is opening up a new location on Robertson Boulevard in Beverly Hills, Calif., within two months. D. is working on distribution plans to get the line of herbal teas in stores nationwide.
Dr. Tea’s is endorsed by a host of celebrities, including Julie Benz, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Shanna Moakler, Tony Dovolani, Joanna Krupa and Holly Madison.
With the reality show and new retail location for Dr. Tea’s in the works, D. also is working on a fundraising project in memory of his mother, whom he lost to lupus on July 22.
“Lupus is really an important cause to me since losing my Mom,” D. said. “I’m doing everything I can to raise awareness of this disease. So, please, if you’re able to, donate to the cause and help save lives.”
D. is working in conjunction with Lupus L.A. on a fundraising effort. He’ll be working on behalf of the organization for a celebrity poker tournament fundraiser hosted by Snoop Dogg to be held at the Petersen Automotive Museum in L.A. on Sept. 22.
