DANE, FORBIDDEN IN COURT CASE

Dane Productions and Forbidden Films are facing charges related to a shoot which authorities say violated their city permit because some nude scenes were visible to the public.

The Los Angeles Times says Dane and Forbidden and filmmakers Paul Bussey and Devan Sagliani were charged in a complaint filed last Thursday. They have a Jan. 31 court appearance scheduled.

The filmmakers secured a city permit to film in a Reseda neighborhood, the Times says, but a complaint from a neighbor whose children saw naked people through uncovered windows in the house where they filmed led to a probe which led to the charges.

Bussey and Sagliani are said to be independent contractors who produce their films and then sell to the studios.
